Supplementary examinations
The medical examination may be supplemented by other tests conducted at the Office
- urine strip test for diabetes, urinary tract infections and kidney or liver disease
- eye test and glaucoma screening test (intraocular hypertension)
- pulmonary function test
- audiogram hearing test
- eclectrocardiogram
- blood sugar test for diabetes
Depending on occupational or personal risks to the employee, the doctor may also prescribe other supplementary examinations conducted outside the company (blood test, stress test, x-rays etc.)
Vaccinations recommended for public health or mandatory for a particular occupation are carried out by nurses during scheduled visits to the OMT and as prescribed by the occupational physician.
